SLOW COOKER HONEY MUSTARD BRISKET

My friend, Pastor Jason, is the master of brisket-making and mentioned some pretty tantalizing brisket ideas in his episode of my podcast (on family worship). Having never made a brisket, I decided it was time. And of course, I’m doing mine in the crock.

SLOW COOKER HONEY MUSTARD BRISKET
  • Serves 5-6
  • 2 pound brisket
  • 1 cup beef broth
  • 3 tablespoons worcestershire
  • 1/2 cup dijon mustard
  • 3 tablespoons honey
  • 1/4 cup olive oil
  • 2 teaspoons lemon juice
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • Salt & pepper
  • Rub brisket with salt & pepper. Sear for 4-5 minutes on each side in a skillet over medium-high heat.

Make dijon mustard dressing by combining dijon mustard, honey, olive oil, lemon juice, garlic powder, and salt & pepper. Cook brisket in slow cooker for 8 hours on low with beef broth, worcestershire, and dijon mustard dressing.
