welcome back
today I am making spaghetti and meatballs in the instant pot so my name is Kristen and every single Monday I'm sharing with you a new instant pot recipe now I don't know about you but things have picked up around here now if you didn't know I have four little girls and they're all involved in sports and gymnastics and piano lessons and we just have a lot going on
so I was looking for something super ass super easy that wouldn't take me a lot of time to throw it together so I decided to make instant pot spaghetti and meatballs so if you want to see just how easy this recipe is go ahead and stick around and watch so first I'm gonna add the spaghetti noodles now I'm only using half a pound of spaghetti noodles now watch as I layer them so they're gonna lay on the bottom and then I flip directions so they're so they won't all stick together if you switch directions a little bit it will cook evenly now I'm gonna use 24 ounce can of spaghetti sauce
now I'm going to try and cover all of the noodles with the sauce so they won't burn or be hard now in order to avoid the burn notice on your instant pot you're going to add one cup of water next I'm gonna take my favorite kind of Meatballs I like homestyle meatballs you can also use the Italian meatballs these are frozen so I'm just throwing them on the top and putting the lid on making sure it's seal tight and you're going to turn your knob to sealing not venting next you're gonna push your pressure cook button and go up to seven minutes now I was at a soccer game when this ended
so I let it release on its own but you can do a quick release when it's done go ahead and take the lid off and your spaghetti and meatballs should be all good to go now if you had a Burn Notice go ahead and take your lid off and you can push the Saw Taiba in and finish cooking your noodles by hand with the sautee function as soon as your noodles are at the texture you want you should be good to go now if you didn't have the Burn Notice awesome you're just gonna mix everything together and then and then serve it while it's hot now I love meat in my spaghetti but sometimes I don't have time to brown the meat this meatball in this spaghetti is a perfect alternative now if you don't want to use meatballs you don't have to you can even just cook the noodles and the sauce together just make sure you have the same amount of sauce and water that I added to the pot and that's all there is to it so I literally took about three minutes to break apart my noodles throw everything in and then it cooked for seven
